South Bend, IN – A South Bend man was killed late Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash on the city’s west side, according to police.
According to the South Bend Police Department, officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 3400 block of W. Washington Street after reports that a three-wheeled motorcycle had struck a branch in the road and crashed.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the rider suffering from severe injuries. He was pronounced dead on-site.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Jahawn Horton of South Bend. His family has been notified, police said.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The crash remains under investigation.
Police have not released additional details at this time.
