Muncie, IN – Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) crews will implement new lane restrictions on Tillotson Avenue beginning Monday. The changes, part of the ongoing Tillotson Avenue Transmission Line Project, will affect the stretch between University Avenue and West Riverside Avenue.
Starting Monday, September 16, one lane will be open in each direction, with traffic shifting from the usual four lanes to two. Crews will manage traffic flow to ensure minimal disruption while allowing safe passage for drivers.
According to Indiana Michigan Power, the lane reduction will remain in place until the project’s completion at the end of 2024. Additional lane shifts are expected in the coming weeks. I&M emphasized the need for these changes to provide safe space for construction teams.
