Illinois Men Arrested after Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Bourbonnais

KANKAKEE, IL – Two men were arrested in Kankakee County overnight in connection with an alleged armed burglary.

Late on August 1, 2023, Kankakee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery involving a pizza delivery driver at Oak Creek Estates Mobile Home Park in Bourbonnais. 

The suspects, later identified as 20-year-old Brandon Davis from South Holland and 21-year-old Jermaine M. Carter from Kankakee, were swiftly located by the Bradley Police Department during a traffic stop in the area.

Both men are now in custody at the Jerome Combs Detention Center, awaiting arraignment on serious charges related to armed burglary. While details behind the arrests have not been disclosed, it’s important to note that all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Jermaine Carter, a felon, faces charges of armed robbery, aggrieved unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm while on parole, possession of a substance with intent to deliver, and other related charges. On the other hand, Brandon Davis has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, defaced firearm markings, and possession of a substance with intent to deliver.
