Chicago, IL – American Honda Motor has issued a recall for model year 2023-2024 off-road motorcycles, citing a potential crash and injury hazard due to the grip detaching from the handlebar.
According to the recall notice dated Wednesday, about 40,700 motorcycles are affected, including models CRF50F, CRF110F, and CRF125F. The motorcycles were sold at Honda dealers nationwide from September 2022 through May 2024, priced between $1,700 and $3,900.
Consumers are urged to stop using the motorcycles and contact American Honda Motor for a free inspection and repair. Honda is directly notifying all known purchasers. One incident of a crash resulting in a knee injury has been reported.
