Cranbury Township, N.J. – New Jersey State Police arrested four men linked to a major cargo theft ring on September 13, 2024. The suspects, all from Philadelphia, face multiple charges. Shaun Coleman, 23, Salahudin Reddy, 37, Hanif Tucker, 31, and Rashan Clark-Reddy, 26, are accused of involvement in the theft.

The arrests were part of “Operation Turnpike Bandits,” an investigation into a series of cargo thefts at New Jersey Turnpike service areas. The suspects allegedly targeted parked tractor-trailers, stealing valuable goods, including meat, alcohol, and seafood. Police believe the group is connected to similar thefts over the past three years, with millions in merchandise stolen.

Around 1:25 a.m., state troopers observed two vehicles approaching the Molly Pitcher Service Area, where suspects were seen burglarizing a trailer carrying meat. Tucker was arrested at the scene, while the other suspects fled. Reddy and Clark-Reddy allegedly rammed a police vehicle during the escape before being apprehended.

Three officers sustained minor injuries during the incident, with one receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. All four men are currently held in Middlesex County Jail, with investigations ongoing.

Authorities are asking for public assistance and additional tips as the case develops.
