Pulaski County, IN — State Road 114 will close for bridge deck repairs between County Road 1600 West and U.S. 421 starting Tuesday, September 24. The closure will last until early November, affecting local traffic near Hill Ditch. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced that the work is part of a preventative maintenance project aimed at extending the bridge’s lifespan.
According to INDOT, drivers should plan to follow a detour using U.S. 231, State Road 14, and U.S. 421. This alternate route is expected to add extra travel time for commuters in the area.
