Mike Singletary has become the latest former Chicago Bear to wind up in the hot seat this week after appearing in a photograph tweeted by President Trump Thursday.

The Hall of Fame linebacker traveled on Air Force One to Texas with the President Wednesday. The reason behind the trip is unknown as Trump was traveling to the state for a fundraiser.

Former Bears have not had the best week. Earlier this week, Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Mike Ditka was criticized by many for his thoughts on kneeling during the National Anthem. “If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country. That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old-fashioned. So, I’m only going to say what I feel.” Ditka said earlier this week.

Earlier this year, Hall of Fame Linebacker Brian Urlacher was seen waiting on the White House lawn with reporters for Trump. When he did, the President called him inside the residence and did not address reporters questions at the time.

Twitter users were quick to weigh in on the Singletary appearance.
