Tallahassee, FL – Snowfall totals in Florida’s Panhandle reached as high as 8 inches during a rare winter storm, according to Iowa State University data. Holmes County led the region with Bonifay reporting 8 inches, while other areas, including Jackson County’s Graceville, recorded totals of 7 inches.
Calhoun County observed up to 6 inches in Blountstown, and Bay County recorded 6 inches in locations such as Cedar Grove and Fountain. Residents across the Panhandle faced icy roads and closures as they experienced an unusual blanket of snow.
