Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms may occur, particularly south of US 24, but the overall outlook remains optimistic for fireworks enthusiasts.

According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, there is a 20-40% chance of showers along and south of US 24 tonight and Thursday. By Friday, the chances of rain and thunderstorms increase to 40-60%, especially in the late morning through the afternoon. However, temperatures will be seasonable, ranging from the mid-70s to the mid-80s.

For those planning to enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July, the evening forecast looks promising. The weather will be humid, but temperatures are expected to drop into the low 70s, providing a comfortable atmosphere for outdoor festivities. The likelihood of showers will decrease as the evening progresses, with only a 15-30% chance of rain south of US 24 between 7 PM and midnight.
