Winnipeg, MB – A pedestrian died in a motor vehicle collision on Portage Avenue and Bedson Street Wednesday morning.
Winnipeg Police responded to the crash around 7:39 a.m. Emergency crews attended to the pedestrian, who succumbed to injuries at the scene. Three others involved were taken to a hospital and are listed as stable.
According to the Winnipeg Police, a Ford F150 heading eastbound on Portage Avenue struck the pedestrian before crashing into a bus shelter. The impact also damaged a secondary vehicle, a hydro pole, and a nearby gas station.
