Pittsburgh, PA – Dense fog has developed over eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania this morning, significantly reducing visibility to a quarter of a mile in some spots. According to the US National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, patchy dense fog is occurring with the highest concentration in valleys and low-lying areas. Visibility may drop to less than a quarter-mile in these locations, particularly during early morning hours. Motorists should prepare for sudden reductions in visibility and drive accordingly.

As the day progresses, there is a chance of showers in the afternoon with a 40% probability of precipitation. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 85°F. The forecast for the rest of the week includes partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with a high of 87°F, followed by a 45% chance of rain on Thursday with temperatures reaching 80°F. The weekend looks clear and sunny, with highs in the mid-80s to upper-80s, providing a pleasant break from the midweek showers.
