The National Weather Service in St. Louis reports a 30-50% chance of scattered storms peaking in the afternoon, primarily affecting southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois. Other regions may experience up to a 20% chance of isolated showers and storms.
According to the National Weather Service, patchy dense fog is expected in central and southeast Missouri early this morning, with visibility potentially dropping to as low as half a mile at times. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
Today’s high is forecasted to reach 86°F, with partly cloudy conditions expected throughout the day. Temperatures will rise as the week progresses, hitting 90°F on Wednesday and 88°F on Thursday. The extended forecast shows highs remaining in the upper 80s to low 90s through the weekend, with a slight dip to 87°F on Friday. Mostly sunny skies are expected, except for a chance of storms today.
