Jackson, KY – Eastern Kentucky will experience a stretch of hot and dry weather over the next few days. A strong ridge of high pressure remains in place, pushing temperatures into the upper 80s to mid-90s through Tuesday. Residents should prepare for sunny skies and rising heat.

According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, Sunday’s high temperatures will range between 86 and 91 degrees. The region will see clear and mild conditions at night, with lows dropping to the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Monday will bring even hotter temperatures, with highs climbing to between 88 and 93 degrees. The heat will continue into Tuesday, with daytime highs peaking between 90 and 95 degrees. The clear, sunny weather will persist, making it essential for residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related illnesses.
