Duluth, MN – Duluth officials will host a September 11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. The event will take place in the lobby of the AMSOIL Arena at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).

According to the city’s communication office, the ceremony will feature remarks from Duluth Police, Duluth Fire, and the 148th Fighter Wing. Officials will lead a moment of reflection and prayer for those lost on 9/11 and those whose lives were forever impacted.

Following the ceremony, Duluth Fire, regional fire professionals, and invited guests will join in a memorial stair climb in the arena’s ice bowl. The stair climb, open to invited participants only, honors the first responders who perished in the attacks. The public is welcome to attend the remembrance event.
