Demotte, IN – Two-Vehicle Collision on US 41 Hospitalizes Local Woman

Demotte, IN – A Demotte woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on US 41 near Kentland, close to County Road 1500 S, on Monday morning. 

According to Newton County Sheriff’s Police, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound in the right lane attempted to switch to the left, resulting in a collision with another vehicle, also driven by a woman from Demotte. The 41-year-old victim was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. 

The condition of the other driver involved in the accident has not been disclosed. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
