Dearborn, MI — One person was killed and several others were injured Sunday morning after a car carrying six people crashed into a tree on Michigan Avenue near Southfield. The incident occurred around 2:08 a.m. when the vehicle, a Dodge Charger, lost control while traveling at a high speed.
The 18-year-old male driver, a Dearborn resident, died at the scene. A 20-year-old female passenger from Garden City was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The remaining passengers, all between the ages of 15 and 20, were taken to nearby hospitals, with one in critical condition.
