Dearborn, MI – Dearborn police arrested four men on May 6, 2025, after uncovering a major theft ring involving stolen Ford vehicle parts. The investigation, which spanned several months, led to the arrest of the suspects, including a Ford employee, who allegedly orchestrated the theft and resale of these parts.

According to the Dearborn Police Department, the investigation revealed that the Ford employee had been stealing new vehicle parts from the company and supplying them to a Detroit business for resale. In response, authorities executed search warrants at residences in Dearborn and Canton, as well as two Detroit businesses on Tuesday, May 6.

The identities of the arrested men are being withheld as they await official charges, which will be filed through the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. More information about the investigation will be released at a later date.

Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin praised the collaborative effort, stating, “These arrests were made possible through the diligent and sophisticated work of our investigative units and with the help and cooperation of the Ford Motor Company Global Security. Criminal activities of this scale will not be tolerated in Dearborn, and we will continue to use all available resources to dismantle such operations.”

The investigation highlights the ongoing partnership between local law enforcement and private security in addressing large-scale criminal activities in Southeast Michigan.
