Davenport, IA – Authorities are investigating a shooting at North Park Mall that left one person injured.
According to the Davenport Police Department, shots were fired inside the mall around 4:23 p.m. Monday. An off-duty officer working at the mall reported the incident, prompting a swift response from additional Davenport police officers and local law enforcement agencies.
Initial reports indicate that one individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time. Police have secured the mall, and an active investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances and motive behind the shooting.
