PORTER, IN – A bizarre and dangerous incident unfolded in the early Saturday when an intoxicated driver found himself stuck on train tracks at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Waverly Road.
Porter Police swiftly responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle stranded on the tracks. Upon arrival, officers witnessed the driver’s futile attempts to move the car. Suspecting alcohol consumption, an OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) investigation ensued.
In a shocking confession, the driver simply admitted, “I’m intoxicated,” leaving law enforcement stunned by his honesty. As a result of the investigation, the driver faced serious charges, including three misdemeanor counts of OWI and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
