Crestwood, IL – A serious two-vehicle crash late Thursday night on the 5400 block of Midlothian Turnpike has left three people hospitalized in serious condition.
According to the Crestwood Police Department, the accident occurred around 11:47 p.m. A white 2001 Mercedes-Benz traveling eastbound was struck by a silver 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 25-year-old woman who allegedly disobeyed a stop sign at Long Avenue.
Emergency crews from Crestwood, Palos Heights, and Midlothian fire departments extricated the victims, who were transported to Christ Hospital. Detectives are actively reviewing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and pursuing search warrants.
