Sacramento, CA – Cooler temperatures are on the way for Sacramento and surrounding areas, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). By mid-week, the Valley is expected to see temperatures under 90 degrees, with some areas having up to a 97% chance of cooler conditions.
According to NWS forecasts, beginning Sunday, Auburn has a 97% probability of staying below 90°F by Wednesday. Sacramento and Redding also show high chances, at 85% and 80%, respectively. Stockton and Modesto follow closely, with a 70% probability on Thursday.
The cooler weather comes after a stretch of warmer days, providing some relief to residents. Temperatures are expected to drop further by the weekend.
