Denver, CO – Snow is set to blanket the Front Range and southern Colorado tonight, with totals ranging from 2 to 6 inches. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect starting this evening through Tuesday morning, creating hazardous travel conditions for residents along I-25 and adjacent plains.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will begin around 6 p.m. Monday for the northern Front Range and 11 p.m. for southern foothills and metro Denver. By Tuesday afternoon, snow is expected to taper off, with accumulations of up to 6 inches in the metro area and Palmer Divide. Highs will remain near 27 degrees, with overnight lows dropping to 8 degrees.

Looking ahead, Wednesday will bring sunshine and highs near 39, but another snow chance looms Thursday night into Friday. Temperatures will remain frigid throughout the week, with highs staying below 40 degrees and lows plunging into the teens.

Residents are encouraged to prepare for delays, stock up on supplies, and dress warmly if heading out. Stay informed on conditions and monitor updates from the National Weather Service.
