Colorado – For a second consecutive day, multiple Colorado highways remain closed following a heavy snowstorm that struck the state on Friday. Key routes affected include I-70 westbound from Goodland, Kansas, to Deer Trail, as well as US 6 through Loveland Pass, leaving travelers stranded and disrupting interstate and local commutes.

Despite snowfall easing, hazardous conditions continue to make travel risky. According to the Colorado State Patrol, additional closures persist on US 24 between Calhan and Limon, US 160 at the CO 389 junction, and multiple stretches of CO highways, including CO 86, CO 94, and CO 101. Officials also report CO 109 and CO 389 closures, impacting routes from La Junta to Kim and from the New Mexico state line to US 160.

Colorado authorities urge drivers to stay informed on the latest road conditions as cleanup efforts are underway. Travelers can visit COTRIP.org for real-time updates on road statuses and detours.
