Cold Case Alert: Philadelphia Police Offer $5,000 for Information on Missing Man Anthony Garcia

Philadelphia, PA – A $5,000 reward is being offered for information in the disappearance of Anthony Garcia, missing since 1994.

Garcia, then 21, was last seen on March 20, 1994, after dropping off a friend at Ninth and Porter Streets. Earlier that day, he played basketball with friends at the D. Newlin Fell Elementary schoolyard near Ninth Street and Oregon Avenue.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), his 1987 Nissan 300ZX was recovered five days later on the 1400 block of West Jefferson Street in Brewerytown. No further leads have surfaced.

Garcia is described as a 5’8” white Hispanic male with brown eyes and brown hair. He weighed 145 pounds at the time of his disappearance and was last seen wearing a baseball cap and Fila sneakers.

Callers may receive a cash reward for information leading to the resolution of the case or the arrest of suspects.
