Today, Chicagoans can anticipate a high of 81°F with a slight chance of an afternoon shower. Temperatures will drop to around 66°F tonight. Tuesday brings mostly sunny skies with highs reaching 85°F. Showers may develop late in the day, primarily north of I-80, with a 20-40% chance of precipitation.
Wednesday is expected to see the highest shower coverage, particularly along and southeast of I-55, with temperatures ranging from 69°F in the morning to 79°F by afternoon. Showers are likely to end early in the evening, leading to a cooler night with lows around 58-66°F.
The latter part of the week promises dry conditions and near-seasonal temperatures. Thursday and Friday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Overnight temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 56-64°F.
