Cheyenne, WY – Residents of Cheyenne should prepare for isolated late-day thunderstorms today, with temperatures reaching 81°F east of I-25 and 75°F to 80°F west of I-25. These storms are expected to develop from Chadron to Sidney. Those in the affected areas should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday could bring more widespread storms, with highs ranging from 82°F to 94°F in the eastern region, with slightly cooler temperatures west of I-25. If traveling or commuting, especially along I-25, be cautious of reduced visibility and slippery roads due to thunderstorms. The highest risk will be in the afternoon and evening.

Looking ahead to Monday, sunny skies will return, but isolated storms could still affect Carbon County. The rest of the week will see more stable weather, with highs cooling to the mid-70s by midweek. Be sure to stay updated with weather alerts for any changes.
