La Crosse, WI – Central Wisconsin will experience unseasonably cool weather through the weekend, with gradual warming expected as the week begins. The National Weather Service in La Crosse has forecasted temperatures that will linger between the mid-60s to low 70s today, with a slight chance of scattered showers developing this afternoon, particularly north of I-94.

According to the National Weather Service, tonight’s temperatures will drop further, reaching lows between 44 to 54 degrees. The weekend will see slightly warmer daytime highs, with Saturday’s temperatures ranging from 70 to 75 degrees and Sunday’s reaching 72 to 77 degrees. The region will remain mostly dry, but the possibility of isolated showers will persist, mainly in the northern areas.

As the week progresses, temperatures will continue to climb. By Monday, highs will reach 75 to 80 degrees, followed by even warmer days on Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures potentially reaching into the low 80s.

Residents are advised to prepare for cooler evenings and potential rain showers, but can expect a gradual warm-up as the week advances, bringing more seasonable weather by midweek.
