Austin, TX – Central Texas is set to experience a mix of weather conditions over the next few days, with lingering isolated showers and thunderstorms expected tonight, primarily east of the I-35 corridor. Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to the mid-70s.

According to the National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio, rain chances will continue through Sunday before the forecast trends drier and warmer next week. Scattered thunderstorms are expected on Saturday and Sunday, bringing pockets of locally heavy rain and the potential for isolated flooding. Temperatures during this period will see highs in the mid-80s and lows in the low 70s.

Looking ahead to next week, the weather will improve with minimal impacts expected. Monday will be partly cloudy with a high of 94°F and a low of 75°F. Tuesday and Wednesday will follow a similar pattern, with sunny skies and temperatures remaining in the mid-90s.
