Aurora, IL – Aurora Police are investigating a rollover crash that left one dead and two injured late Wednesday on the city’s far east side.
At around 8:40 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to reports of a rollover crash near E. New York Street and N. Eola Road. According to the Aurora Police Department, the crash involved four vehicles, including a Dodge Challenger that rolled over after losing control. The driver of a 2002 Toyota Camry, Gerardo Cuatzo, 44, of Aurora, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two others sustained minor injuries.
Chief Keith Cross extended condolences to Cuatzo’s family and urged witnesses to contact the Traffic Division. The investigation is ongoing.
