Indianapolis, Ind. – Mostly sunny skies and highs pushing into the upper 70s will give Indiana residents an early taste of summer this week, with ideal conditions for outdoor plans through at least Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, Tuesday temperatures will climb to between 69°F and 75°F, followed by an even warmer Wednesday with highs ranging from 75°F to 79°F. Overnight lows will remain mild, dipping only to the low 50s tonight and mid-50s tomorrow night.
Sunshine will dominate across central and southern Indiana, including cities like Bloomington, Terre Haute, and Muncie. Parks, trails, and patios are expected to stay busy as the warm stretch continues—especially with dry conditions holding steady.
While no severe weather is in the forecast, allergy sufferers should note rising pollen levels, and residents are encouraged to stay hydrated during extended outdoor activity. It’s also a good window for yardwork or travel, as conditions remain calm statewide.
Clear skies and warm afternoons are expected to last into late week, with the next chance for rain holding off until Friday.
