Joliet, IL — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet will host its Mobile Food Pantry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church this Friday, November 1. The pantry will operate from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering free groceries to local families facing food insecurity. This month, the distribution hours are adjusted from the usual schedule.

The food pantry, located at 205 E. Jackson St., provides essential items for Joliet residents in need. Catholic Charities encourages attendees to note the temporary time change, emphasizing that regular hours will resume next month.

According to Catholic Charities, the pantry event is open to all, with no income restrictions. Volunteers will assist visitors with selecting food items based on availability. The initiative aims to alleviate food shortages among residents and strengthen community support.
