According to the National Weather Service in Albany, Monday will feature sunshine, seasonable temperatures and comfortable humidity levels. Afternoon highs will range from 73 to 83 degrees, with overnight lows falling into the lower 50s to lower 60s under mainly clear skies.
Forecast confidence decreases on Tuesday as morning cloud cover and scattered rain showers could influence how much instability develops during the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to range from 70 to 81 degrees, with isolated thunderstorms possible from the afternoon into the evening. While a few storms could become locally strong, forecasters say confidence remains low that severe weather will develop.
The unsettled pattern continues Wednesday, when additional showers are expected across much of eastern New York and western New England. High temperatures will reach 67 to 84 degrees, depending on cloud cover and rainfall, while overnight lows cool into the upper 40s to upper 50s.
By Thursday, drier weather is expected to return with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Afternoon highs will range from 68 to 79 degrees, accompanied by lower humidity and comfortable conditions across the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, Mohawk Valley, southern Vermont, western Massachusetts and northwestern Connecticut.
