Fresno, CA – A California Highway Patrol (CHP) traffic stop on Interstate 5 led to the discovery of approximately 235 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in Fresno County. The drugs, with an estimated street value of $2,140,000, were seized during a routine enforcement stop by CHP’s Central Division.
According to CHP, the drugs were hidden in a vehicle traveling along I-5. The stop occurred when officers noticed suspicious activity and requested a search. After further investigation, the methamphetamine was discovered and confiscated. No further details have been released regarding arrests.
