Bridgeview, IL – Motorists in the Bridgeview area are advised to seek alternative routes this afternoon due to a large rally and march scheduled for today, Monday, April 7, 2025. The protest, organized by the Chicago Coalition for Justice in Palestine, will take place at Westfield Plaza, located at 87th and Harlem Avenue, starting at 4:30 p.m.
According to the Bridgeview Police Department, significant traffic disruptions are expected along 87th and Harlem, with possible road closures or restrictions in place to accommodate the event. Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and plan for possible delays during the protest. The rally is part of a global strike calling for an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
