Aurora Man Arrested on Six Counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse by Task Force

Aurora, IL – A 55-year-old Aurora man was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force and Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred on August 28th after an investigation led by Kendall County detectives.

David Drewniak, the suspect, faces six alleged counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Each count is classified as a Class 2 felony. Drewniak was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

According to the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office, a warrant was issued following the approval of the charges. After a court hearing, Drewniak was released from custody under pre-trial conditions.
