Aurora, IL – The Aurora Fire Department will reveal its first new fire truck in over two decades on Thursday. The apparatus, Truck 14, is the first to be added to the fleet since 1998.
According to the department, Truck 14 is equipped with advanced tools to enhance response efforts in emergencies and rescue operations. The new apparatus will improve capabilities for roof ventilation, fire control, and rescue missions, ensuring enhanced safety for the Aurora community.
The unveiling will take place Thursday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Aurora Fire Department Central Station, located at 75 N Broadway. The department encourages residents to attend the event to learn more about this vital addition to the fire fleet.
