Arlington Heights, IL – The Village of Arlington Heights will host its annual Autumn Harvest festival today, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North School Park. The event promises a day filled with family-friendly activities, including a scarecrow decorating contest, pumpkin decorating, and more.
According to the Arlington Heights Special Events Commission, registration for the scarecrow decorating contest begins at 11 a.m. Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy crafts, a petting zoo, hayrides, and temporary tattoos.
At 11:05 a.m., the Vibe Dance Company will perform, followed by a performance from the South Middle School Band at 1:15 p.m. The winners of the scarecrow contest will be announced at 2 p.m.
Attendees can purchase food from local vendors like Kori’s Koop food truck, AJ’z Kettlecorn, and Garibaldi’s Pizza. The event is free, making it an affordable outing for families looking to celebrate the fall season.
