Arkansas State Police Arrest Little Rock Man After Alleged Road Rage Incident on I-40

North Little Rock, AR – A Little Rock man was arrested Wednesday morning following an alleged road rage incident on Interstate 40 near Prothro Junction.

According to Arkansas State Police, Ernest Oneal, 38, was taken into custody after reportedly brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner during a confrontation with another driver around 10 a.m. near the 156-mile marker on I-40 eastbound.

Authorities said the victim described a semi-truck involved in the incident, leading troopers to locate and question Oneal. He allegedly admitted to displaying the weapon during the altercation.

Oneal was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he was charged with felony aggravated assault and carrying a weapon.

This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details were immediately available.
