Ann Arbor, MI – A pedestrian crash sent a 20-year-old Ann Arbor man to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 8:34 p.m. at the intersection of Packard and Arch streets.

Officers arriving at the scene found the pedestrian unconscious on the roadway. Emergency medical personnel from the Ann Arbor Fire Department and Huron Valley Ambulance treated him on-site. He was then transported to the University of Michigan Hospital, where he remains in stable condition with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses reported the man was crossing the street in a designated crosswalk when he was hit. According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with authorities. Investigators confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash, though the driver received a citation.

The investigation is ongoing as officials review possible contributing factors to the collision. Police urge pedestrians and drivers to exercise caution, especially in high-traffic areas around campus.
