Wilmette, IL – A 35-year-old man died in a crash on the Edens Expressway, prompting Illinois State Police (ISP) to seek public help.
The crash occurred Tuesday morning at approximately 7 a.m. on Interstate 94 westbound near Lake Avenue. ISP responded to the scene where the vehicle had crashed. The driver, a 35-year-old man, later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity but are actively investigating the incident. According to ISP, they are looking for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash camera footage that could assist with the investigation.
Drivers in the area at the time are encouraged to come forward if they saw the crash or noticed anything unusual. The police stressed the importance of gathering additional information to understand what led to the fatal crash.
