Peoria, IL – A traffic accident involving a District 150 school bus sent 16 students and two adults to the hospital Wednesday morning. Peoria Police responded to the scene at approximately 9:43 a.m. on the 800 block of Fayette Street after reports of a collision.
The bus, which carried several Charter Oak students, collided with another vehicle. Fortunately, the other driver was not injured. However, those on the bus sustained minor injuries and required treatment at a local hospital.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the accident. The investigation remains ongoing as Peoria Police gather more information.
