Beecher, IL – The Beecher Police Department is currently investigating a swatting incident that led to a significant police presence at a residence on the 600 block of Country Lane.
The event, which unfolded on Sunday afternoon around 4:45 PM, was initially reported as an active threat. However, it was quickly determined to be a false alert intended to draw a large-scale law enforcement response. Thankfully, no real threat was found, and there were no risks to community safety. The department thanked the officers from surrounding areas for their prompt response to the situation.
