Spooktacular Kankakee Halloween Celebration scheduled for October 16th

KANKAKEE – Halloween Downtown is scheduled to return this October.

The annual event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Kankakee, will take place Sunday, October 16th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 200 block of South Schuyler Avenue, including the Farmer’s Market Parking lot and in Festival Square at the Train Depot.

Last year, the event hosted an estimated 2,000 children featuring Halloween themed music, entertainment, food vendors and a trunk or treat event in the afternoon.

Area businesses and organizations are invited to participate or sponsor events including free to play games, activities, or running a trunk during the Trunk or Treat event.
