KANKAKEE, Ill. – The Kankakee Valley Park District (KVPD) has announced that the road past the KVPD Campground will be closed for construction starting April 13.
The KVPD asks for the public’s patience while they work to improve the road.
Unfortunately, the closure means that the River Run Dog Park, Pirate Ship Park, and Boat Ramp will be inaccessible during repairs. The KVPD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and urges visitors to explore other parks in the district.
