The Kankakee County Coroner’s Office released a number of statistics surrounding deaths in Kankakee County this afternoon, including victim’s ages and residents of death.

“Please note, anyone who dies in a Kankakee County healthcare facility is by law considered a Kankakee County death. The Illinois Department of Public Health and Kankakee County Health Department do not track deaths in the same manner,” said the Coroner’s office in a statement released Friday afternoon.
