An infant has tested positive for COVID-19 in Kankakee County as new records continue to be set in the pandemic.
Since Monday, the County Health Department has announced 92 new cases of COVID-19.
There are now 507 cases in Kankakee County since the beginning of the pandemic. The County announced 29 new cases on Wednesday. That followed 40 new cases announced on Tuesday and 23 new cases on Monday.
Among the new cases today included an infant along with four teens.
No new deaths were announced Wednesday. Recoveries grew by 4 today, now at 119.
Only cases in Pembroke did not increase today. Cases increased in Manteno, Bourbonnais, Bradley, Kankakee, Momence, Chebanse, and St. Anne.
