Chicago – Governor JB Pritzker and the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity released a 5-year plan to create an economy in Illinois that works for everyone. To expand prosperity throughout the state, the plan is focused on fostering job creation, improving wages, building greater equity, and attracting and supporting businesses.

In an effort to reduce potential risks, residents are welcome to use the video recorded location to meet buyers and sellers at any time of day so that if a situation arises, the incident is recorded. “Often people inherit farms or have some old containers of pesticides on their property and don’t quite know what to do with them. That’s why we started the ‘Clean Sweep’ program in 1990,” said Doug Owens, IDOA Environmental Programs Bureau Chief. “It’s a great way to ensure the proper disposal of these pesticides and protects the environment of the state of Illinois.”
