Wreaths Across America Honors New Lenox Fire Protection District Volunteers
Tammy Levey and Skip Minger were both presented plaques from Wreaths Across for America, recognizing their efforts in raising over $27,000 last year for the NLFPD, which allowed them to purchase over 1,800 wreaths placed at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL. This was the first time a single donor has been able to raise enough money to provide wreaths to cover an entire section of graves.

Summertime is here and the Fourth of July is less than a week away. Block parties, summer cook-outs and other outdoor fun is on tap for the upcoming holiday.
