KANKAKEE COUNTY, IL – The skies are set to ignite this Independence Day as Kankakee County prepares for a dazzling display of fireworks. With multiple locations across the county, residents and visitors alike can look forward to a breathtaking spectacle that will light up the night.
On July 1st, St. Anne Baseball Fields will be the place to be as the first fireworks show kicks off at dusk. The following evening, on July 2nd, The Quarry in Grant Park will offer a picturesque backdrop for another awe-inspiring display.
Manteno Sportmen’s Club will take center stage on July 3rd, treating attendees to a mesmerizing show. As the grand finale approaches on July 4th, KCC, the heart of Kankakee, will host a sensational fireworks extravaganza. For those seeking a more intimate experience, Fireman’s Beecher Park in Beecher will also light up the night on the same evening.
Not to be outdone, Watseka will celebrate in style on July 4th, commencing their fireworks display at 9 pm. Visitors can enjoy the show from both the County Administrative Building and the Courthouse Parking Lot.
For those who miss out on the initial festivities, Aroma Park Boat Club will hold a belated celebration on July 8th, treating latecomers to an enchanting spectacle.
Peotone will also join in on the fun, hosting their fireworks display on July 4th at dusk, promising a memorable experience for all attendees.
