Frankfort Bluegrass Festival goes virtual this weekend

FRANKFORT, IL – Today would have been the first day of the 10th Annual Frankfort Bluegrass Festival, originally scheduled for July 11th and 12th in Frankfort.

Although it was canceled back in early April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still get in on the fun today virtually! The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival will be holding a Virtual fest today, premiering videos of concerts past throughout the weekend! 

Each set is recorded in high-quality 1080p HD, on location n Frankfort. The event was awarded “Best Event of the Year” in 2019 by the International Bluegrass Association.

Debuting on the page later today includes the 2017 show from The Steeldrivers, Basalm Range, and Mile Twelve from the 2018 Frankfort Bluegrass Festival. Visit their YouTube for all the virtual showcases throughout the weekend.  

The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival plans to return in 2021 in-person on July 10th and 11th. You can check out some of their sets released so far below:

The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival is a non-profit 501c-4 and will be accepting donations throughout the weekend for the event.
